Groups Tab

The Groups tab on the User Extensions page allows you to specify which Ring Extension and Call Queue groups this users belongs to. When you add a user to a group here, it is the same as adding the user to the group on the Menu option where the groups is defined. It makes the user's phone ring when the phone system feature is activated.

Note: When a caller accesses an extension through a call group, the call groups routing features over ride the features specified on the extension. For instance, if the user has 3 rings defined and the call group has 10 rings defined, the user's phone will ring 10 times when the caller is routed to that call group option.
